#4187 CUBE one way audio issue

Posted by cciecollabvoice on 16 March 2015 - 07:05 PM

hi All,

while i configuring CCIE lab, i faced the following issue:

one way audio through the CUBE on R1 between site A and site C when i use iLBC codec:

9971  > Site C R3 > iLBC >> R1 CUBE > CCM 1 > phone

that was because of iLBC packetization issue, when i changed the packetization under 9971 to 30 ikt got resolved but when i used voice class codec it did not work!

any idea !

thanks

#70347 Passed CCIE Collab Lab 3 - CCIE #55062

Posted by PareshWagh123 on 21 December 2016 - 01:19 PM

Hi,

Cleared My CCIE Lab in First Attempt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I passed my CCIE Collaboration Lab on December 12 2016.
For background, I have gone through two other bootcamps and trust me they have been disappointing for me as I did not get what I expected, or what I really need it out of those.

however this bootcamp with CCIEHOME (WWW.COLLABORATIONBOOTCAMPS.COM ! WWW.CCIEHOME.COM) has been a totally different experience.
Mr. Arshad Dhunna and Mr. Joaquim are simply machines, they run on energizer battery and they keep on going and going and going.
I couldn't imagine there are more technically informed person then them, anywhere in the world with the ability to clearly and so precisely explain the WHY and HOW behind every topic.

Lots of my Friends did their Bootcamp from CCIEHOME, so they suggested me to join CCIEHOME. They told me that they give pass gurantee so i enrolled with them

I’ve had much training throughout my career and the CCIEHOME experience was the best.
The fact that the bootcamp was ONE-TO-ONE so that really helped me a lot to understand my concepts.

After the exam,  I knew the results immediately, had the good feeling and only waited on Cisco to validate.

And guess what Atlast I got My CCIE #55062

They are true masters of CCIE Collaboration, infact any CCIE !!!

CCIEHOME is class and truly represent the wisest of choices for CCIE prep. I recommend them to anyone who has a real desire to be a CCIE.

Thankyou to all whoever has worked with me in this forum and skype groups to discuss the technology and best of luck for future just prepare well and do the hard work you will get it

If anyone want to reach me can definitely contact me at pareshwagh123@yahoo.com or my number +91 9167823101

I have no words except to say My Dreams came true best of luck to all

Regards,
Paresh Jaising Wagh

Posted by CCIE4Ever on 23 June 2015 - 08:47 PM

Mr yahoo.. Your response doesn't deserve a reply. People like you degrade the value of who or what a CCIE should be. It's people like you that end up with a CCIE number and can't read a sip trace.. Good luck

#1315 Lab Insight

Posted by CCIEorBust on 11 March 2014 - 02:12 PM

Figured I'd give some insight to the Lab.  I sat for it a few days ago.  Here are the high notes:

1.  No SRST, all three sites have their own CUCM or CME.

2.  No UCCX editor in the lab I could find.  Use the system ICD script.

3.  Presence section pretty much the same, just sub jabber for personal communicator.

4.  Lots of SIP trunks.  You'll configure SIP trunks between CUCM's, CME, Cube and backbone.

5.  Make sure you know how to configure SIP phones on a CME.

6.  Not much CUCM features...nothing really on Meet-me, call parks, etc.

7.  Only one CUCxn, so be prepared to integrate it with two CUCM clusters (SIP and Sccp).

8.  Lab is big on video, and making video work over SIP trunks.

9.  Know CUBE!

10.Qos section was smaller, no WAN QoS.

11.Make sure you can configure a dial plan only using the \+! route pattern.

This lab is big on SIP, Video, and the calling routing that results from the SIP trunks.

#21822 The Ultimate Lab 3 Q & A thread

Posted by farsul on 22 September 2016 - 02:23 PM

People like Me and Nicolas (see his thread about failing the Exam) have worked and spent thousands of dollars and many many hours to try to perfect our skills and get this monster of the lab working. But no matter how and what approach we take the results are always the same. With many workbooks around for lab3, many iterations i don't know what Cisco wants or is it a big scam.

In any case from my own experience and from looking at the different threads i wanted to consolidate a few things in one thread for better collaboration (kind of hate this word now). So fire away...

Here are a few tips/tricks/problems that people have been discussing the most, fill in the blanks if you feel like it.

Section: 1 NTP/DHCP

  • HQ-CUCM takes time from the loopback of R1
  • All the rest from the NTP ip provided

Section: 2 Call Manager

  • Site to Site Vid works, but vid conf fails (no solution yet)
  • Site to Site Vid blank screen (either on PSTN or SC)
  • TEHO solution still unknown
  • MVA solution still unknown
  • Too many people loosing marks for unknown reasons

Section: 3 CME/CUE

  • MWI not working (remove and re-add sip-ua --> MWI server command)
  • MWI not working (under ccn settings make sure the MWI = sub-notify)
  • MWI Not working (dial-peer for VM must have Binding to loopback)

Section: 4 QOS

  • Question one is still valid
  • Question two answer unknown

Section: 5 CUC

  • No need for another DP/Region for G729
  • Make sure you have a transcoder assigned to the default DP
  • Only need to remove the display name, keep it blank, this is verified

Section: 6 UCCX

  • Use CUE to record prompts

Section: 7 IM&P

  • Surprise surprise they removed everything with the word "jabber" from the online (offline) Cisco page in the lab
  • Ok its actually there but almost impossible to find now, you have to be either lucky or know the exact location
  • Add CUC's IP address as the mail store and exchange server in the service profile
